1. Introduction and Definitions

This website (“Site”) is operated by TapTools, LLC (“TapTools,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) as part of a funded engagement with the Cardano Builder DAO. These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Site.

2. Purpose of the Site

This Site was developed by TapTools, as part of a funded engagement with the Cardano Builder DAO. Its primary purpose is to present a unified dashboard displaying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) submitted by individual projects as part of their DAO funding applications. The Site aggregates self-reported KPIs and supporting data from participating projects to improve transparency, accountability, and ecosystem visibility. It serves as a public resource for the Cardano Builder DAO and the broader Cardano community to track and evaluate project outcomes over time. All information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice. TapTools does not independently verify the accuracy of submitted data.

3. Self-Reported & Third-Party Data

Some of the data displayed on the Site is self-reported by project teams or sourced from external platforms, including third-party APIs and public datasets. TapTools makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this information. We do not independently verify all content and expressly disclaim liability for any decisions made based on this information. Use of the data displayed on the Site is at your own risk.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to interfere with its normal operation, reverse engineer, scrape at scale without permission, or use it in violation of applicable law.

All content and materials on the Site, including the design, layout, interface, charts, visualizations, and code, are the intellectual property of TapTools or its licensors, unless otherwise noted. Logos, names, and trademarks belonging to third-party projects are the property of their respective owners. These are displayed strictly for informational purposes in the context of showcasing KPIs submitted to the Cardano Builder DAO. Their presence does not imply endorsement or affiliation unless explicitly stated. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any material from this Site without prior written permission from the respective rights holders.

7. Data Collection and Privacy

TapTools respects your privacy and is committed to transparency regarding the data collected through this Site. We use Google Analytics, a third-party analytics service, to gather standard internet log information and user behavior data. This may include anonymized IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, user interactions, session duration, and referral sources. This information is used solely to monitor Site performance, identify usage trends, and improve the overall user experience. TapTools does not use this data for targeted advertising purposes. The Site is hosted on Vercel, a third-party web hosting and deployment provider. As part of its infrastructure services, Vercel may automatically collect technical data from users, including IP addresses, request headers, browser and operating system metadata (user-agent information), and diagnostic or security-related telemetry. TapTools may access these logs for operational, debugging, or security purposes, but does not control how Vercel stores or processes the data. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TapTools shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from reliance on any data displayed on the Site, inaccuracies or omissions in self-reported or third-party content, the use of or inability to use external links, integrations, or APIs, and any unauthorized access, security breach, or data loss that occurs beyond TapTools’ reasonable control. This limitation of liability applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, negligence, or otherwise, even if TapTools has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Sheridan, Wyoming, and shall be conducted in English. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. You and TapTools agree to waive any right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action. This arbitration clause shall survive termination of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

TapTools reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
